Synopsis

La rencontre de quatre destins croisés qui vont finir par s'apprivoiser, se connaître, s'aimer, vivre sous le même toit. Camille fait des ménages le soir dans les bureaux et dessine avec grâce à ses heures perdues. Philibert est un jeune aristocrate féru d'histoire, timide, émotif et solitaire, il occupe un grand appartement que possède sa famille. Franck est cuisinier, viril et tendre, il aime infiniment sa grand-mère, Paulette, une vieille dame fragile et drôle. Leurs doutes, leurs chagrins, c'est ensemble qu'ils vont apprendre à les adoucir, pour avancer, réaliser leurs rêves. Ils vont se découvrir et comprendre qu'ensemble, on est plus fort.

Argumento 

En el fantástico mundo del bosque animado se conoce a gente que se ha transportado a ese sitio por una fuerza mágica. Un bandido, un pocero, una niña que trabaja, un chico que no quiere trabajar, una muchacha que emigra, un fantasma que busca compañía... Estos, y muchísimos personajes más, constituyen el diverso panorama que vamos descubriendo entre los árboles de "El bosque animado". Swing Vote

Swing Vote is a 2008 dramedy film about an entire U.S. presidential election determined by the vote of one man. It was directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starred Kevin Costner, Paula Patton, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper, Nathan Lane, Stanley Tucci, George Lopez and introducing Madeline Carroll. The film was released on August 1, 2008.[1]

Swing vote is a term used to describe a vote that may go to any of a number of candidates in an election, or, in a two-party system, may go to either of the two dominant political parties. Such votes are usually sought after in elections, since they can play a big role in determining the outcome.

A swing voter or floating voter is a voter who may not be affiliated with a particular political party (Independent) or who will vote across party lines. In American politics, many centrists, liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats are considered "swing voters" since their voting patterns cannot be predicted with certainty.

While the swing voter is ostensibly the target of most political activity during elections, in countries without compulsory voting the political parties know that the shift from one party to another is dependent only to a limited extent on swing voters. Another, arguably larger factor is the success of one party in comparison to another in getting out its core support. In a two-party system, those who become disillusioned with their favored party are more likely to vote third-party or abstain than cross over.

However, in the 24 countries with compulsory voting, voter turnout is often already very close to 100%, so if the major parties are roughly balanced in popularity, swing voters can have a marked influence on the outcome.

Plot

Swing Vote deals with the story of an election set somewhere in the near future where Bud Johnson (Kevin Costner), a lovable loser who is coasting through life and hasn't a single political thought in his head, is thrust into an improbable dilemma. In response, he is coaxed by his 12-year-old daughter Molly (Madeline Carroll) to take more of a serious approach to life. Molly runs the household and sees an opportunity on election day to energize her father. The election is a "dead heat" with the sole deciding ballot in the hands of a mystified Bud, who is being wooed by candidates from both sides, the incumbent Republican Andrew Carington Boone (Kelsey Grammer) and the opposing Democrat, Donald Greenleaf (Dennis Hopper).

Bud's actual opinions (or lack thereof) are misinterpreted by the media, causing the candidates to flip-flop on several positions (The Democrats take a pro-life and anti-immigration stand, while the Republicans take a pro-environmental and pro gay marriage stand). In the end, Bud chooses to hold a final debate the day before he is set to recast his ballot. In a written speech, he confesses that he knows little to nothing about politics, or for that matter, life, and decides to ask questions from people in the mail. The movie ends with Bud casting his vote, though it is never revealed who he voted for.

Tatil Kitabı, Silifkeli bir ailenin bir yaz boyunca başından geçenleri, daha çok ailenin küçük oğlu Ali’nin bakış açısını ön plana çıkararak anlatıyor. Filmin olay örgüsü, Ali’nin sert mizaçlı babası Mustafa ile ailenin diğer üyeleri arasındaki gerilimler üzerine kurulu. İstanbul’da askeri lisede okuyan büyük oğlu Veysel’in askeri okulu yarıda bırakarak üniversite sınavına girme isteğine şiddetle karşı çıkan Mustafa, çekingen ve içine kapalı bir çocuk olan Ali’yi de yaz tatilinde çalışıp kendisi gibi ticaret öğrenmeye zorlar. Kendisini aldattığından şüphelenen eşi Güler ve geçmişte şehirde şansını denemiş, ama tutunamayıp Silifke’ye dönerek baba mesleğini sürdürmek zorunda kalmış kardeşi Hasan’la Mustafa arasında da sürekli bir gerilim vardır. Tüm bu gerginlikler, limon tüccarı olan Mustafa’nın, iş için gittiği Ürgüp’ten dönüşte beyin kanaması geçirip komaya girmesiyle geri plana itilir. Başta, aileyi bir arada tutmak için Mustafa’nın yerini almak zorunda kalan Hasan olmak üzere, filmdeki karakterler belirgin bir şekilde değişir.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe

The X-Files: I Want to Believe is a 2008 science fiction film directed by Chris Carter, and written by Carter and Frank Spotnitz. It is the second feature film based on Carter's TV series The X-Files, following the 1998 film. The stars of the TV series, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, reprise their respective roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

The film was first anticipated in November 2001 to follow the conclusion of the ninth season of the TV series, but it remained in development hell for six years before entering production in December 2007 in Vancouver. Many of those involved in the film, including Carter, Duchovny and 20th Century Fox, have spoken of its story as one that would stand apart from the alien abduction conspiracy story of the television series. The film was released on July 24, 2008 in Australia and Germany, July 25, 2008 in North America, July 31, 2008 in Israel and Kuwait, and August 1, 2008 in the United Kingdom. The world premiere took place July 23, 2008, at Graumans Chinese Theatre in Hollywood; the UK premiere took place July 30, 2008, in London's Empire, Leicester Square.

Unlike the first film, the plot does not focus on the series' ongoing "mytharc" and instead works as a standalone thriller/horror story, similar to many of the "Monster-of-The-Week" episodes that were frequently seen in the TV series.
